Not much rain here to report. Just a bit overcast with some drizzles. Matt & I went to Wyoming last weekend for Easter where it was cool and sunny.
Friday I took advantage of my gym's group fitness classes for the first time. I hit up a 10 am yoga class that had about 50+ people. I had lifted for my upper body the day before, so wasn't so psyched when the zen-style yoga teacher announced we would be focusing on the upper body and doing about "80 chaturangas" (push-ups). Yikes! We ended up doing about 100, but at about #40, I took her up on the suggestion to add a "modification" (read: knees down). It was a good work out. Here's a cool song on the teacher's yoga mix, which I think Kayte would especially like:

Matt & I ran on Saturday in Wyoming around the country through "Mormon Canyon." We saw some deer and antelope. Very scenic out there in Glenrock!

http://www.cartoonstock.com/directory/a/antelope.aspToday I am back in Pueblo. I usually skip the Monday night exercise since I am a little zonked after my Monday morning 4:30 alarm. However, after hearing a story on NPR on my drive down about how sitting on our butts is bad for our health, I was inspired to hit the treadmill at La Quinta tonight. Here is the link:

Not that this is any surprise, but I give a lot of exercise advice to my patients dealing with chronic pain. So I decided to heed my own advice and ease my aching back by exercising. I think it worked :)
Keep up the spring exercise blog diet momentum.
