Oh dear!

Dad, you are so right!  Where the heck are we??!

This past weekend starting Friday threw me way off b/c I wasn't at home... now cheesecake, a whole pizza and a lot of extra calories, and no workouts, ugghh... tomorrow perhaps I'll celebrate King's legacy with a challenging work-out/start-fresh day.

Hopefully, tomorrow night I'll have good news to share.  :-o!

  1. Is that good news related to exercise or a possible new job you interviewed for?

  2. Um.. good news exercise. That is, I hoped I'd stop being such a schlop!

Monday evening found me at the grandrents house for a nice dinner: stuffed chicken, corn non-the-cob, homemade cole slaw, biscuit & sweet potato. Speaking of potatoes, my grandparents are sweet but they are not (couch) potatoes! Granny & I "walked the mile" --a Leslie Sansone dvd-- that Granny does everyday. She likes it so much that when I was downstairs in the basement just looking around, she came down too & put it on! (How did she know?!)

Walking a mile with Granny was outta this world. Such a woot! Woo! Never seen Granny so...
agile, alert, animate, animated, astir, blithe, blithesome, bouncy, bright, brisk, buoyant, bustling, buzzing, cheerful, chipper, chirpy, complex, dashing, driving, effervescent, enjoyable, enterprising, entertaining, festive, frisky, frolicsome, full of pep, gay, go-go, happy, hyper, industrious, involved, jocund, jumping, keen, merry, nimble, peppy*, perky, pert, provocative, quick, refreshing, rousing, snappy, sparkling, spirited, sprightly, spry, stimulating, stirring, vigorous, vivacious, zippy

I highly recommend the "Miracle Mile."

Sure, it was only 15 minutes and I didn't get sweaty but it was movement & it was togetherness & it was good.

  3. oh yeah...those adjectives are synonyms of "lively" :) Perhaps we could adopt an adjective a week to strive for.

For me, this week I shall strive to be "buoyant." Time to bail out my boat & stay afloat! This may meaning running every a.m.! That would be a miracle.
